Dr. Dwight Heberer, DMD
 Dwight,
wife Robin, and Labs Sam and Montana make up the Heberer household.
Dr.
Heberer likes any fun outdoor activity, especially golfing and fishing.
Dwight's academic background includes graduation from Belleville West High
School in 1978. In 1982 he graduated with honors (Zoology) from Eastern
Illinois University. Dr. Heberer received his D.M.D. degree from Southern
Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 1986.
After graduating from dental school, Dwight completed a one year hospital
oriented general practice residency at the University of Alabama at
Birmingham School of Dentistry.
For
the past twenty-one years, Dwight has practiced all phases of dentistry. He
especially likes improving smiles with braces and cosmetic techniques. After
all these years, he still enjoys going to work. He takes great pride and
satisfaction in the quality dental care he provides, and the establishing
and continuing of relationships between he, his staff, and his patients.
 Most
recently, Dr. Heberer, accompanied by SmilesRForever staff, attended a Perio
Protect continuing education seminar in September 2007. Perio Protect is a
new and effective FDA-approved medical device which delivers antimicrobial
agents to the source of oral infection.
Dr. Heberer is a member of the American Dental
Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Illinois State Dental
Society, the St. Clair Dental Society, the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary
Dental Society, and the International Association of Orthodontics.
